- The mission of the California Environmental Justice Alliance (CEJA) is to strengthen the progressive environmental justice movement in California by building on the local organizing efforts and advocacy successes of our member organizations to achieve state policy change. The California Environmental Justice Alliance is composed of six grassroots base-building member organizations in California: • Asian Pacific Environmental Network / Bay Area • Communities for a Better Environment / Los Angeles + Oakland • Center for Community Action and Environmental Justice / Riverside, San Bernardino • Center on Race, Poverty + the Environment / Central Valley + San Francisco • Environmental Health Coalition / San Diego • People Organizing to Demand Environmental + Economic Rights / San Francisco
